Must do's:

  1. Rocks Road at sunset provides an ideal photo opportunity. Best photos I've taken in a long time.
  2. For a unique accommodation experience, stay a night or two at Aquapackers in Anchorage Bay - the only floating backpackers in New Zealand!
  3. The Brook Waimarama Sanctuary is well worth a visit - pure nature, bird song is amazing!

  1. Rabbit Island has an awesome beach area with plenty of bbq's. Just bring your food, swim wear and towel for a fun filled day!
  2. The Riwaka Resurgence is an easy walk through stunning native bush to clear pools and rushing water. Just lovely.
  3. Go horseback riding on beautiful icelandic horses this summer - a great way to see Golden Bay's famous beachfront scenery.

  1. The Beached Whale Restaurant and Bar in Kaiteriteri is open for you to sample a fresh look summer dinner menu. Beside the beach with indoor and outdoor options
  2. Try a delicious Thai lunch at Chokdee on High Street, Motueka for only $9.00!
  3. The market held in Deck's Reserve carpark every Sunday morning offers the freshest veggies.
