  1. Imagine a world preserved by time & steeped in history, where nature takes the stage. Find this at the Forgotten World Highway between Stratford & Taumarunui.
  2. When you are driving through Eltham, stop for a fantastic muffin and coffee at Inflame Cafe on the main road. They are so tasty they're hard to resist!
  3. Woolshed Museum, Waverley has an amazing collection of NZ heritage housed in an old woolshed. Open by appointment

Great food & wine:

  1. For a great dining experience try II Chefs Steakhouse on High, Hawera. Fabulous food and giant steaks! Open Tuesday - Saturday.

  3. Montrose wine bar on Liardet Street has a fantastic selection of international wines to tempt your tastebuds
